7 week old pups and even older will go right through those! I know cause i have that gate at the hallway leading to my bedrooms. My older dogs cannot go through but the new puppy just walks through like it was made for her walkway.

I used this for my puppies: Six Panel Superyard - One Step Ahead Baby Worked like a charm and they did not climb it. Also very easy to clean.
