If it's the Fake stuff it won't bother them , but if it is REAL Hardwood it will definately screw them up unless they are sealed VERY well. I KNOW!!!!!!
You can either use plastic or rubber mats. You can get clearplastic off rolls in most hardware stores for like 99 cents a linear foot. OR you can get rubber placemats at places like Home depot. They are usually Grey and about 3ft. by 3ft. They are called.. LOL.. I forget but they are the grey pad cushions for that you can by and intrelock to make bigger areas. They are like$12 each and you can wipe or hose off. Just put the pee pads right on top.
