I just adopted a 6 yr old yorkie from a small dog rescue. She was a breeder's dog. This little dog is adorable but is very timid. She doesn't give you any signals when she needs to go potty. She seems to go hours (sometimes 17 hours without going for a pee). I take her out and she won't go then you come inside and she will go pee. She wants to be held all the time. Don't get me wrong I don't mind holding her but she wants to be carried and held all the time. Any tips on training a 6 yr old would be appreciated.
