I followed my dream also, but found out that it was too hard for me to give the pups up....
Remember that EVERYONE started with their FIRST litter... no one ever started with yrs of experience breeding, not possible.
I am happy you have a mentor and make sure you can trust your vet.... I also got a reproductive vet involved, it was more money, but put my mind at ease a bit more, along with my mentor and my regular vet.
