I got Fred from a breeder that lives in Lewisville. It was only about 25-30 minutes away from Dallas towards Arlington. She's a great breeder and does it as a hobby because she is retired. She said she's been doing it for several years now and she seems like a great lady. They have a website at
http://www.pupsnmore.com
I was supposed to help them fix the site up a little bit but I haven't had the chance to get with them!
The only thing that might "throwback" some people is that her dogs are APR registered, which to me doesn't really matter.
Fred is great and she knows how to prepare them for a new home! Fred doesn't bark at night (not even the first night) because she slowly took him away from his litter and when I picked him up, he didn't see his litter or mom for 1 1/2 weeks. He has a great temperment and never had any problems eating when he got home. He warmed up the 2nd day he was there! When we brought him home, he immediately started using the pad. Don't ask me how, he just does it and I am sooo grateful he does! He's had a few accidents here and there. But his character is just absolutely adorable.
I let him run around and then I went into the restroom and I had to use it. He ran in and sat there, so I didn't want to throw him out. I used the restroom and we went to play. After a few, he ran into the restroom and started peeing! From then on, if he ever ran into the restroom.. we'd chase him cause when he's there.. he'll do his business! That's the only place he has accidents at. So the breeder taught him well! Also, his ears were sticking straight up when we brought him home and they haven't drooped since.
Personally, I love this breeder.. her name is Susan, and if I were to ever buy another Yorkie.. I would definately get it from her.
