The OP has gotten some great advice! I just want to point out that despite being in financial trouble, you still have a responsibility towards your dogs.

I got my first Yorkie as a student and I did everything in my power to give him the best. He got the best food, he was neutered at 8 months, he has more toys than any dog I know, etc. Sometimes, I had to go hungry to afford food for him. And when he needed training, I used half of my income to pay for the best class.

Now I have two Yorkies of my own (both sterilized) and I'm only 24. I'm always struggling financially, but I still find the money to take care of my dogs and even take in and care for foster puppies for welfare. You just seem to find the money when you really need it.
