When Zeke was little I had pillows placed in a semi-circle with me across the opening so that he would not fall out of bed. When ever he would stir during the night I would take him to the kitchen and put him on his potty papers. After he peed, it was back to bed. He has never gone on the bed or fallen out of bed. Now he is 2 and big enough to get on and off the bed by himself, but he still gets up during the night and wants out to go potty. I free feed so it is probably my fault that he gets up during the night because he always has access to his food and water. If his bowls get empty, he lets me know about it. |
