i'm glad i could get a chuckle outta all of ya, even you SoCalyorkiLvr!

SoCalyorkiLvr, i wanted to mention tho, my vet did not specifically identify the "special cases" where bitches under 5lbs *MAY* be used for breeding. so i can neither confirm nor deny the "special case" you're suggesting. But she did say "special cases" and "may" with a look of distain.

Kinda like how i tell people my 15 yr old clucker of a car, which drives fine within city limits, "MAY" (insert finger-quotes a la Dr. Evil of Austin Powers) be able to make the drive from San Francisco to San Diego this Christmas in (insert finger quotes again) "special cases", such as: packing the car very lightly, no traffic on I5, no extreme heat or cold during the drive, the engine does not overheat, i am commited to stopping every few hours to cool the engine and check the engine oil level to refill as necessary, the wind is behind me as i make the climb up the grapevine, just to name a few. But i also run the risk of being stranded in the middle of nowhere with a useless car and in desperate need of tow truck with a good mechanic.

There's a remote possibility of success but the odds are against it and why should i or anyone in my position take that risk? Therefore, i'm taking the plane instead.
