I'm a huge fan of the show, mainly because the characters are so complex, they all have traits that are good and bad, so they seem human-like. There are no good guys bad guys, they are what they are, and it's wonderful seeing them grow and develop. I'm disappointed in some, Betty for example, but she does seem like a real person to me, and not one dimensional. They did a great job of casting the players, and Joan is wonderful in her role. I was sorry to see Don's secretary died; I thought she was pretty funny. I like Pete, and even though he's kind of slimy at times, I look at it as him being very vulnerable. I think they did an excellent job of honestly portraying the time. |
