I agree, simple is always easiest, looked at your fleece coat, nice sizes too, might do well even here where the sweater's are almost too heavy, we don't go out when it's cold
I've been in So Cal waaaay to long for that one, Sprocket's rain gear is of similar design fleece w/a slicker type cover and a velcro strap. But we don't do too much rain, thanks for the idea on the coat though.
