I have found that a few strategically placed pentagrams and some fake blood around our door usually do the trick.
Just kidding. I don't have any suggestions, but I can sympathize. (And for some reason, I feel like being rude to a church crusader would buy me a one-way ticket to a hotter climate.) We have no soliciting signs at the entrance to our neighborhood and we still get ppl trying to sell us vaccum cleaners every few weeks.
