My vet charges nearly 300.00 for dental. That includes if they happen to have to have a tooth removed. Alot of times little baby teeth have to be pulled so the permanant teeth have room to come in. But I would sure have the blood work done. Back several years ago I didn't have the blood work done on Tina before a cleaning because she had just been in a couple of weeks earlier to get her yearly check-up and boosters. Turned out she almost bled to death because she had Von Wellington disease and we didn't know it. Thank goodness my vet knew what to do but I never fail to get that blood test on anything one of mine are having done.
