There will be many sleepless nights, worries, exhaustion, messes to clean,
smiles, joy, laughter and lots of love coming your way...
...and that's just with the puppy! LOL
But seriously~
While it is a sweet thought to add that puppy now and complete your
'happily ever after dream', the reality is that it would be like adding
another baby to the family mix.
Not trying to shoot down your idea completely, but the timing isn't
ideal. In this case the puppy will most likely be the one to end up
lacking the attention and guidance it will need to grow into a confident
and wonderful family dog...
especially once your human baby arrives.
I do wish you the best in your decision though. Lots to think about.
