Kayla is suppose to weigh 4lbs. After surgery she is now 9lbs., but she is also a little piggie. Dudley is still 4lbs., no change. Tina gained just a little bit, she weighs about 10lbs. (toy schnauzer) Lexi is the one I worry about most. (mini schnauzer)She is suppose to weigh 13lbs. at the most. She weighs 29lbs. She eats no more than the rest. I feed my schnauzers the same amount as my yorkies, only Dudley, because he is sooooo little. Schnauzers, espically females are prone to diabetes and I just don't know what to do about Lex. I have had a male in the past that lived 2yrs. after being diagnosed with diabetes, so it really worries me about her. I am thinking seriously about putting her on the tread mill. I know the breeder would have a heartattack if he seen her. He shows them and feeds prescription Royal Canine to keep down fat in their food. Yours may not gain at all. I guess it just has to do with the individual dog because to me Lexi just doesn't eat that much. Good luck with your little one.
