If you want to be on the safe side, I'd take a fecal sample to the vet just to check for infections or parasites. Better to be safe than sorry...especially since diarrhea/loose stools are symptoms of parvo, coccidia, and giardia of which none are pleasant.

However, I know that Milli gets an upset stomach when she drinks water that's not from home. Not necessarily 'bad' water...just any water that her tummy isn't used to. Someone here recommended that we try using a product called Forti-Flora. It's like a probiotic for dogs. We used that for about a week and haven't had any trouble since! I keep packets of it on hand for when we go anywhere new. If we do, I just add a packet to her food for an intestinal 'booster' and she does wonderfully! Maybe it would help your little one as well.
