Such a beautiful poem. It really made me think about my Oscar. I always said he was sent to me for a reason. He came into my life at a time when I was so lonely and was trying to have a baby and couldn't. He ended up being sick and needed my full time care. In a way he was like a baby needing so much attention. He brought so much love into my life at a time when I needed him the most. Then I finally got pregnant and it was as if God said that his time here was up, his destiny fulfilled. He gave me so much love in the short time he was with us and I will love him forever. Thank you for posting and my sympathies to you for your loss.
