Hi,
Did you get my private message yesterday? For whatever reason, Sophie doesn't care about what is on the other side. Our cats don't either. Maybe they have enough sense to know that would be dangerous? My neighbors have the same stairs and walkway that we both have and their small Yorkie (4 lbs) has no problems, and she has the run of the house.

Of course, you need to do whatever you think is most safe. I hope you can find what you need.
