That's so funny! My husband and I travel to Europe a lot with our Melanie, mostly Germany, France and Switzerland. We were just reading Ramsey's story here on YTC and said that if we ever need to go to UK we would fly to Paris and go from there. I can't really help you now as I have never done that yet, but I think is a great idea and don't think you should have problems as I'm sure many french probably do that to.
I would suggest you to look it up at the website of a train/ferry company that does this route and see what they say. You may not need to rent a car and take instead public transportation, these websites will usually tell you what type of paperwork you will need and you can go from there... |
