Thank you so very much for your encouraging words. I don't plan to give up on showing, I just don't think I want to be "in the ring". My friend/mentor/neighbor and I make a good team -- she loves everything about the showing and doesn't like the whole puppy whelping side of things, and I love the whelping side and I'm not confident enough in myself (let's face it I'm a klutz) to go in the ring. So.... when the time comes I'll be in the whelping ring and leave the showing ring to Liza.
One of the most fantastic parts about showing is to meet so many knowledgeable people and beautiful dogs and to look forward to seeing them as you travel from show to show.
