Did they give you an antiseptic to clean it with? When Brody had a lancing, it wasn't still bleeding it was just like an open wound like a small eraser sized hole. So I was told to use warm compresses, use the antiseptic and then there was also a cream. I stopped the use of the antiseptic because it was burning him . . .they also gave him pain killers to take home, but they made him very loopy, so I stopped those as well. What worked best for me was just to wet a paper towel with warm water and then use the antibiotic cream, he wasn't given any oral antibiotics. We did this 3 times a day. They wanted the hole to close slowly . . .
