wow what a long night. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers! I called the ER vet and the second xray this morning looks like things are moving thru. (gas) They made her comfortable all night with meds and fluids. And I will need to keep an eye on her and bland diet. They thought they should keep her until she eats and keeps things down, but I already know she won't eat for them! I will make a call to the local vet this morning as the er vet will have her xrays and blood test on a comp disk for us in case we need them.
It is always such an emotional call with these things and the cost is crazy. But I could not live with myself if she needed surgery or had a bad infection. I am so glad it appears to be gas. She is such an attention getter! |
