My Pixie got a hold of a silca pack a couple of years ago. She started throwing up a lot and I called the ER vet and they said they weren't poisonous but could cause bad tummy upset. I took Pixie in because she was throwing up so much. They gave her fluids and something to settle her tummy and she was fine the next day. I would try and get rid of the silca and not let her near the chair.
