Wow, all of your suggestions sound really nice, except the cardboard one!
I was looking at clear glass tiles, and like them. I want to stay away from patterns, in case we want to sell some day. The subway glass tiles are really pretty!
Did you have a contractor install yours, or go thru Home Depot or Lowe's?
I hope it can be installed in one day.
