I just spayed one of mine last week. I like to keep them in a crate for the first two days to minimize their movement and then as they seem to be doing better, I put them in an expen for the next week. Once its been about 10-14 days, I let them rejoin the pack.
You may find that they have loose stools and possibly some vomiting. Only put toys that are easy to wash for the first couple of days. Don't feed them anything special and keep them on the same diet but you may want to start them back on a smaller portion. I would also supplement with some nutrical as a precaution. They are under a lot of stress with their surgeries now and can use the extra support. Be very cautious with those cones. You should be able to put about 2 fingers around their neck with the cone on. If its too lose they could easily pull it off. I had a bad experience one time when a girl of mine was able to partially get the cone off while I was away and when I came home it was half in her mouth and she was struggling with it. I was so lucky to come home when I did and she was fine once I was able to get the cone off. It was a sight I wish to never see again! That was scary. If you are able to, I would try to be near by for the next few days so you can keep an eye on them. When you have more than one, its even more important that they take the time to rest and recover before you let them be rambuncious with each other.
Don't worry...your babies will be back to normal in no time at all!
