i knew we californians are getting ripped off all the time. an average 1200 sq ft home here in the bay area will run me about $600k, gas is $2.35 per gal of 87 octane and the same economy pack of 100 pad at petsmart costs me $32!!!!

someone in the products forum posted this: www.dhmedical.com
they have 300 wee-wee pads for $33 plus shipping. it's actually underpads for adult incontinence. the underpads and pet potty pads are bascially the same except the human ones doesn't have the "special scent" that attracts puppies to the potty pads. i got a $6 bottle of potty training aid and spray it on every pad i put down anyways. the petsmart ones is suppose to have "super absorbancy", not sure how many oz that is, but the underpads have moderate absorbancy , which is about 8 oz/1cup of liquids, more than enough for a puppy of a yorkie's size and stature.

my bunjee will go pee on the pad a few times before he starts to go off the pad. he finds a different corner to go every time. his poo i can pick up with tp and flush it down the toilet, unless it's runny, then it goes down the trash chute immediately in a plastic bag. nowadays, i'll go through 2 pads a day. but a friend of mine has a puppy who will refuse to go again on a soiled potty pad. so she goes through A LOT until the pup learned to go outside.

there are also washable and reusable potty pads, but i never looked into those 'cause i'm too prissy to launder poop and pee in my washing machine.
