Just my opinion here, but a new dog and pregnancy don't mix well, at least not in my case. The smell of poo and morning sickness was not a good mix! To top it off, I ended up on bedrest and couldn't interact with the dog as I had planned. It made me feel horribly guilty.

A new addition, whether a puppy or a baby, is a BIG change and is best done one at a time.
