Bella  Boo developed a yeast infection...  ...I know, sounds weird...in an ear...who'd ever think you could get one there!
So, my Vet informed me that I should be keeping them clean of hair growth especially, since she has floppy ears...which can trap moisture inside...creating a perfect environment for yeast to grow. |
Thank youso much. Keoki has had yeast in his ears in the past and has one floppy ear and his ears get very hairy. i guess I will just do a little bit of pulling at bathtime. I also give him plain yogurt once in a while and apple cider vinegar to keep the yeast at bay because his ears tend to bother him from time to time.
