Please, always use only the harness whenever you walk your puppy. I have been walking our Ally since she was 12 weeks old and using a harness. She is now 2 years old and we walk every day. Just take your time and let your Yorkie "sniff" all she wants to. No hurry. You both have plenty of time, enjoy yous walks and smell the roses. Life goes by too fast anyway.
