How do I know this because I buy Cokes especially for when my son comes to visit. I was buying either on sale cokes or too many and they would sit in my cabinet between his visits. He started fussing because my drinks were always flat or stale tasting- He told be to look on the cans before I bought to make sure they were fresh.
Hope this helps.
Nope, that's not the problem in this case. I have done that before though.... bought too many on sale and ended up not drinking them in time. But this really seems to be a bottling issue. I really can't even tell you how many 6 packs I've bought in the last 6 months or so that were flat. And not only that, on some of them the cap didn't even seem to be on right. You know how the tamper proof seam breaks apart when you open one? Well, on a couple of these 6 packs, the seam didn't even break.... the whole cap just twisted off very easily.

I doubt I'll ever hear what the verdict is but I just wish they would get the problem figured out. I'm going to try buying my DP 6 packs here in the town I work in instead of my home town. Maybe the 60 miles difference will mean it's a whole different bottling place. Who knows.
