Poor Latte, I know exactly how you feel. She and you will get through it. just remember she has to rest in order to heal and not cause further injury.
When Jersey broke his leg, he wasn't crazy about the crate but we had no choice. I used a big crate that I borrowed from a neighbor (her german shepard use to sleep in it) we kept it in the livingroom and I slept on an aero bed close to the crate. Sometimes I would lay in the kennel with him I know crazy but I felt so bad for him.
So don't stress just do what's best for her and before you know it she'll be back to herself again.
