We live in MO and have been discussing this proposition some. I understand that there may be some good foundational thoughts behind the proposition BUT I have a problem with blanket legislation/regulations. I suppose I'm of the belief that it comes down to the heart of individuals....people ought to do the right thing without having some law to regulate them. I mean, if it takes a LAW to make someone treat an animal right, then their heart definitely isn't in the right place to begin with. I dunno...I don't want a law passed simply because it's more government regulation. BUT...there are alot of bad people in MO that need to be drummed out of the puppy mill business. SOoooo....I'm not sure what is exactly right. It's a tough call to be sure! |
