 Mucous in stool?
This AM, Elvis went outside as usual first thing, peed and pooped. Then he was scooting his butt, I took him back out and he pooped, at the end was some mucous. The rest of the poop was fine (normal looking). Any thoughts? He had been chewing on his bully stick last night after not doing so for a couple days. Can it be normal as long as it is only occasionaly? Plus with the butt scooting...?
(It has only happened once, and I will ask the vet when he's in Fri or Mon for his shots. And I will call before our appointment if needed) |
