Yes, have her checked out. It probably is false pregnancy. My two girls went through all pregnancy symptoms on their first heat. The eating more is probably why the 7 yo thought she felt heavy. My vet spayed my Ariel and she was 2.5 lbs with no problems so I don't see why he had a problem with a 3 lb. But all vets are different. Have her checked then spayed. I hope all goes well.
