Bonnie- I'm sorry about Alexander. It's never easy seeing a much loved family member getting older.
I don't want to add to your list of worries, but my golden exhibited signs of confusion after her stroke. The physical signs were very subtle in her, just a mildly dropping eyelid. It was the mental changes we noticed most.
What ever it is, I'm sure Alexander knows you love him very much.
