Merlin was born March 8, 2010 and he just got neutered last friday. I was worried but he did awesome. I would go with your male first if you don't want to do them both at the same time.
I got premature baby onesies for Merlin to wear so he couldn't lick his stitches and that worked so well. He is already back to his usual self.
