I have tried attaching the little clip (that goes on his harness) on both, the shoulder part of the seatbelt, and the part of the seatbelt that goes through the bottom, and he did it both ways, lol. Can you shorten the strap that clips to his harness? We have the straps attached to the lap part of the seatbelt, but they can't jump out (or maybe just never tried?).
