Yes, YEs, YES!!!! Our Bella does exactly the same thing. We have noticed that the longer we leave her the longer it takes her to go through the "Lovebug Crazies" when we return. Cesar Milan (Dog Whisperer) says dogs don't feel emotions, and that this behavior shouldn't be reinforced. NOT! We feed right into it each and every time and we BELIEVE she is overjoyed to see us. We all need a little love in our lives and Yorkies give much more than a little. I'd say 5 minutes is about right if you've left your little one alone for 6-8 hours. Enjoy the LOVE! |
