It is so maddening to see these poor babies like this. The shelter I volunteer at has funds to stay open another 3-6 months and then they don't know what they are going to do. I agree the problem had existed for a long time but the economy is definitely affecting the number of animals turned in to shelters/rescues and donations are done dramatically. I encourage anyone who can to try and donate to a rescue or shelter if you can't foster. I hope you can find a great foster home for this little guy. |
