I use to frown on breeding the off colors before I really listened to the parti breeders reasons for wanting to breed them and get them accepted as a color variation of the yorkie terrier. Also I researched about other breeds where the piebald gene shows up. I dont see anything wrong with the parti breeders wanting a color variation added for their partis. I think they should breed for the standard and keep their lines pure not breeding partis to goldens or other off colors if they want to be considered seriously. I think that health and structure should be more important than color |
