Anyways, I bought some Omega 3-6-9 oil (for dogs) to add to her food. We started this morning with a half tsp. Hopefully we can get her up to 1 full tsp, twice a day.

I kind of wonder if she has developed some seasonal allergies this year--mine have been terrible. The vet actually recommended we try benedryl, but my breeder said that her skin looked a little dry, so I thought I would try some natural supplements first.
Fish oils can help in itchiness, for some doggies. Is the itchiness seasonal for her this spring/summer? Is she licking/chewing her paws?

Remember to supplement w/ 10 IU vitamin E when giving dogs fish oils. Ark Naturals Royal actually has the E already in it, which is nice .

I'm giving coconut oil right now, and the kiddos love it.
