I think 2.4 at 8 weeks is a little bit heavy for your Yorkie to be considered "standard" which means fully grown he would be not heavier than 7lbs. I don't think weight really matters, I am just stating how heavy the standard Yorkie should be. For comparison, Simba was 1.5 lbs. when we got him at 8 weeks and he is now 6lbs at 8 month and hasn't really grown the last couple of weeks so I expect him to stay that way.
