  i can only imagine how angry you are; i'm furious for you! if that was my bambi, heads would roll!i'd call them and arrange for a scan  asap (even insist she does not leave their (or even your) sight), if she is pregnant, you'll be right there to vent your anger at them. if it was their fault, then i'd agree that they should cover the costs- i know my vet would if something was to happen with one of my girls, but different vets and different situations.
 wait until you know for deffinate that there is something to be angery about though, before you let them have it, because i'm assuming until this you had every faith in your vet? and thats hard to find- i'm lucky enough that my dad did the 'vetting' of the practice i go to 10yrs before i was born, but if they shut down, i'd be pulling out my hair trying to find a new one good enough for my babies!
 hopefully shes just filling out a bit with suspicious timing, but let us know how it goes!
