As with everyone else, I totally spoil Crickett with beds, clothes, toys, treats. But I was amazed when the other night she started going absolutley nuts. I couldn't figure out what it was.
Well I had worked late and was really tired. So I popped open a can of vienna sausages for dinner (I know, how awful is that?!?!?!). Crickett smelled the broth and went absolutely insane!
At first I wouldn't give her any because I am anti-human food for dogs. (And the sodium sheesh!) But oh my goodness. Even an hour after I took the trash out she was still running into the kitchen trying to jump onto the counter!
Finally the next night I popped open another can to "test" my theory. Yep. Absolutely nutso for vienna sausages. Well, I have been having trouble keeping her attention for training her. Hehehe... so now she is allowed ONE sausage which I break up into tiny pea sized morsels which she only gets if she obesy sit / stay. I got her to sit for a whole two minutes last night!
I still can NOT believe I caved and am actually doing this... the things we do for our babies!
