Simon is terrified of all the Christmas stuff and Hallie hates when the lights on the tree blink and barks at them forever! I realized that I have never seen Hallie around a tree since last xmas was our first together and I had just moved here and didn't have decorations! Simon peed on the tree once, probably out of spite
