I, too, "rescued" a sweet baby girl from Craigslist. Judging by her actions when she first came home and the way the man (the husband of the lady I got her from) spoke of her when we went to pick her up, I believe she was abused by him. To most ppl, I paid too much, shouldn't have replied to a Craiglist ad blah, blah, blah but they did not see my baby's eyes when she saw me that first time...as if she knew she was being rescued. From that point it was if she had been with me her whole life. And she has the most loving personality...can't imagine anyone giving up a baby so precious.

It was the same way with Jenny. As soon as I walked into the guys home she ran straight to me and wanted me to pick her up. I did, and every time I sat her down she badgered me until I picked her up again. Of course I didn't mint because it was so cute at the time. But now I realize that it was because she knew I was there to take her away from him and she was happy about that. Well and she didn't want me to leave with out her.
