It's tough to pin down what the problem could be. It could be as simple as the time of year and a skin allergy associated with it. But who knows? I'm surprised the dr didn't suggest benedryl first. If it isn't that big of a problem for your little one, just a single dose or two might put a stop to it. Otherwise, you may have to go through the process of elimination. I wish you luck and would hope you have time to update us.
