I'm going through a similar thing with Scarlett and my slippers. My trainer said to carry around a squirt bottle while wearing them and to zap her with it as soon as she goes for them.
I'm not sure it will work, as I have a doxie that used to look around for the spray bottle before doing something he knew he shouldn't ...
