She came from Oklahoma? Did you buy her online? If so, chances are she came from one of the many Oklahoma puppymills. If you want to share the breeder's name, I can check for you.
If she did come from a puppymill, that would explain her behavior. Puppymill puppies are raised in kennels with the very minimum human contact and handling. They are not socialized at all. She is probably terrified as people, a house, being outside, everything is brand new to her. The only security puppymill puppies know is other dogs and now she is alone. If she was taken from her mom and littermates too soon (before 12 weeks) that just makes it worse.
You will have to be very patient with her and take baby steps in her training and socialization. |
