You have a great heart. Most people not only don't stop for loose dogs, but definitely won't for injured babies...and it's just heartbreaking. With your help, this sweet creature did not have to suffer - and may he RIP.
Oddly, I was running errands this morning and I too saw a dog on the side of the road - except he was dead
and already stiff. Black, fluffy fur...like a black chow mix. I get so choked up whenever I see an animal on the side of a road, and I feel so horrible.
