Beamer had his name when we got him. The breeder's son had a BMW and he named him Beamer. As he a year old when I got him I kept his name as Beamer. (And he is as close to a BMW as I'll get LOL)
With Lil Bit, she was a puppy and were thinking of names for her. I had none in mind. The name has to fit the puppy, and I knew her name would come to me. Then I decided on "Bonnie Blue", and my husband said she is just a Little Bit, so then and there and ever since she has been "Lil Bit"
